This is essential if you want to thaw your AI straws without damaging them (and therefore the chances of success).
This monitor is used to determine the right water temperature for warm water thawing of the straws. Simply insert the monitor into your thaw bath and adjust the hot and cold until the temperature is in the green zone.
The water in the thaw bath will then be the correct temperature for thawing. You can use this handy tool to monitor temperature in your polystyrene thawing bath or Cito thaw unit as you use it.
Couldn't be simpler - this monitor gives you a big number and color indication of the correct temperature.
Remember to maintain the thaw bath temperature during AI, and do not add hot or cold water while AI straws are in the bath.
